Do Your Research Before You Vote - Then VOTE!!!
Don't buy the campaign mottos or the idle promises. Understand who the candidates are.
I research many candidates from my area as well as candidates around the country. I want to know what they’re all about. For incumbents in Congress, it’s easy if you’re willing to take time out of your day to not just study the issues but know exactly what the candidates stand for by examining their voting record.
We always see or hear the term “Conservative” by Republicans but when their Conservative Review “Liberty Score” falls into “C”, “D”, or “F” territory it’s a real wake-up call to reality.
It’s more difficult for those running for Congress the first time. With all that said, I never see myself voting for a Democrat, however, I still want to know what the Republican is spewing while voting for more spending, more war, continuing resolutions while demonstrating they’re liars with no backbone.
One example would be Tulsi Gabbard, now the darling of many Republicans and touted at middle to right leaning news sites such as EPOCH Times as the second coming of everything Conservative. I’ve seen one article promoting Gabbard as a viable VP candidate under Ron DeSantis for POTUS. Really? What happened to Trump 2024?
Not available currently, I have researched Gabbard when she was in office because much of the time, she caught attention of the right. I can attest her “Liberty Score” was “F” at a very lowly 4 percent. This is Bernie Sanders territory, who clocks in at 7 percent.
So, skip the campaign rhetoric and news pundits, do your own research, learn facts then judge for yourself.
Now is not the time to assume a Republican is truly a Republican. With people jumping from the other side to the Republican side, you need to look at their scores. I have to wonder why they are jumping ship from one side to another, assume nothing.
